Community Service Day

I'm confused a bit. I don't know if we are required to make a blog entry on the class as well as turn in the April assignments. I wiill make a quick blog for last class even though I'm not very sure about that issue. Anyway, last class was held on Community Service day. I did not attend the class period due to the fact that I was totally exausted after working out in the sun for over 6 hours. To be honest, I think its ridiculous that the College holds community service day on a tuesday because that puts Night class teachers in a bind. Obviously you can't cancel the class because you dont have many classes to begin with and night class teachers have a lot of material to get through in a semester with a limited amount of time to do so. I thought it was nice of you Mr. Rees to hold class an hour later than usual to help compensate for the effects of Community Service day, but I simply couldn't resistto skip it after the day's work. I kind of regret that now. Anyway, 2006's Community Service Day was actually the best one i've ever had. I really enjoyed the people in my group. I befriended serveral people im not that familiar with but we got along and even kind of had fun together. It's fun to meet new people. Also, it was one of the best years in terms of the food :) wehich is important when your starving in the sun from working many years. I also really liked the work we did. Suprisengly, I did like it. I really felt good with what we did. Especially an old man that we worked for. His yard was like the essence of death. We also ministred to him and prayed for him. I loved that. Thats more of what I want to see through this community service day. The best part of the day was dinner which was BBQ chicken, ribs and corn. Best dinner of the year :) Well, I think thats all folks. God bless
