I have arrived

Hola,

This would be an entry from the one and only Stephen Joseph Mitchell. Why did I create this blog? Because I had to of course. So far our, Developmental Outreach and Discipleship class (the class this blog was required for) has been very interesting. We had intense class discussions over the methods of the Preacher Joel Osteen and whether or not we should buy and download other sermons and bascially fitting it for your own congregation and church. The class seemed divided over both issues, however I personally believe that while Joel Osteen isn't heretical he is a bit sugarcoated in his presentation of the Gospel (which explains why it's so popular). Also, I personnally have no interest in getting someone else's sermon for my own church. For me that takes away from the uniquness and purpose that God has me there for. Again though, I have no problem with those whose views differ from mine. I guess thats all for now PEACE
